The First to Commercialize Horse Placenta in Japan

Introducing Horse Placenta to the Japanese Market

In the early days of the placenta market, porcine placenta was the most commonly used source. However, recognizing that porcine-derived ingredients may not be suitable for people of certain cultural or religious backgrounds, we sought a more widely accepted alternative.
In 2006, Merveille became the first company in Japan to successfully commercialize horse placenta, introducing a new category of placenta-based products to the Japanese market. This milestone reflects our longstanding commitment to innovation, scientific research, and product excellence.
Today, our decades of expertise in horse placenta continue to inspire the development of premium skincare and nutritional supplements trusted by customers around the world.
